Why Kanzlei Martin

Experience that deserves trust.

As a notary and specialist lawyer in three fields, Prof. Dr. Frank Martin combines qualifications that are rarely found together. For you, this means: a single point of contact where legal drafting and legal representation go hand in hand.

  • Notary, professor and specialist lawyer in one person – Notary, university professor (Hochschule RheinMain) and specialist lawyer for family, employment and inheritance law. To our knowledge (as of 07/2026), we are not aware of another such combination in Germany.
  • Four specialist lawyer titles under one roof – Family, employment and inheritance law; employment law covered by two specialist lawyers (Prof. Dr. Martin and lawyer Benjamin Meiser).
  • Fee payment in Bitcoin – via our own, self-hosted BTCPay server (performance in lieu of payment, § 364 BGB). To our knowledge (as of 07/2026), we are not aware of any other German law firm offering this directly on its own website via a self-hosted BTCPay server.
  • Two locations, around 100 km radius – personally accessible in Limburg and Montabaur.

Frequently Asked Questions

Good to know

What is the difference between a notary and a solicitor?

The notary is an impartial holder of a public office. He certifies contracts and declarations in a legally secure manner for all parties involved and provides neutral advice. The solicitor, on the other hand, represents the one-sided interests of his client. Prof. Dr. Frank Martin performs both functions – but always separately and with clear role distinction.

What is a specialist solicitor and what advantage does this offer me?

The title "specialist solicitor" (Fachanwalt) is awarded by the Bar Association only after proof of special theoretical knowledge and extensive practical experience in the respective area of law. Prof. Dr. Frank Martin is a specialist solicitor for family law, employment law and inheritance law – so you receive threefold proven specialisation.

What does an initial consultation cost?

Fees for legal services are governed by the Rechtsanwaltsvergütungsgesetz (RVG) or an individual agreement. Notarial fees are set by law under the Gerichts- und Notarkostengesetz (GNotKG) and are therefore uniform nationwide. We will inform you transparently in advance about the costs to be expected.

At which locations can I attend an appointment?

You can reach us at our main office in Limburg an der Lahn (Parkstraße 33) as well as at our branch office in Montabaur (Bahnallee 11–13). Appointments can be arranged by telephone on 06431 - 2 88 88 88 or via our contact form.

How do I prepare for a notarial appointment?

For most certifications, we require in advance the personal details of all parties involved as well as the relevant documents (such as land register data for property purchases). Once we have received your details, we will prepare a draft for you to review at your leisure. At the appointment itself, the deed will be read out in full and explained.
